About Considering FaithBroadcast Sunday afternoons at 2:00 PM on KTNF AM 950: Air America Minnesota, Considering Faith is a radio program focusing on the moral and political issues of our day and the values and faith basis for those morals. Considering Faith is sponsored and hosted by the Minnesota Council of Churches whose mission is "To manifest unity in the church and to build the common good in the world." The Council of Churches is composed of 11 member judicatories (regional church governing bodies). MCC's work includes sustaining, expanding and improving ecumenical relationships among Christian denominations in Minnesota, cultivating relation`ships with other faiths in the state, as well as issue-oriented work including refugee resettlement, anti-racism training and awareness, helping congregations cope with sexual misconduct and related violations of power and boundaries, seeking public policy that reflects care for the "least among us", and helping coordinate food shelf donations across the state. “The contribution of religion to public life is to be neither ideologically predictable nor loyally partisan but to challenge both the right and the left from a consistent moral ground.”-Jim Wallis, Founder of Sojourners Magazine Considering Faith will is a program where guests from a variety of religious perspectives explore together the values, beliefs, scriptures behind their opinions about the day’s top stories.
