Guest Host Rev. Chris Morton will talk with Debra Easter of the Greater Minneapolis Council of Churches and Cindy Johnson of Camp Noah will discuss the ongpoing support church groups have been offering in the aftermath of Hurricane Katrina.

January 22, 2006: Faith and Civic Involvement

Host Rev. Peg Chemberlin and Guest Rev. Al Gallmon will explore the role faith can play in civic involvement and action in one's community. Rev. Gallmon is a community activist and pastor of Fellowship Missionary Baptist Church in North Minneapolis. Rev. Gallmon also serves on the Minnesota Council of Churches board of directors.

January 15, 2006: Rev. Martin Luther King

Host Rev. Peg Chemberlin will talk with Rev. Elenora Giddings Ivory of the Presbyterian Church (USA) Washington Office about the life and work of Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King and how people of faith can continue to uphold his vision for a more just and peaceful nation and world.

Rev. Chemberlin will also speak with Brian Rusche, director of the Joint Religious Legislative Coalition about Governor Tim Pawlenty's recent anti-immigration legislation proposal.
