Host Peg Chemberlin will be talking with Rev. Ronald A. Smith, Sr.  senior pastor of UNITY Baptist Church and spokesman for the newly formed Concerned Clergy and Congregations,  an organization formed  to address a recent cross burning in St. Paul and the rash of church burnings in the south, as well as other hate crimes.

Judy Kolwicz, Executive Prebyter of the Presbytery of the Twin Cities about embracing cultural differences and becoming a community where each one is valued, and where we understand that the valuing of each is indeed an expression of the common good.

Guest Host Rev. Chris Morton interviewed Rev. John Briscoe about the "Benefits Bank" and the National Council of Churches (NCC). John Briscoe has served as Director of Development for NCC since May of 2000. During that period the Council has recovered its financial balance, moving from an operating deficit of $5.9 million in FY ’99 to a surplus of $6.2 million in FY ’03. Reserves have grown from $2.2 million to $9.9 million. A “Christian Century” article in the Fall of 2003 was entitled “National Council’s Financial Recovery Rolls On."

Also during the show Rev. Morton talked with Sue Kainz, coordinator of Minnesota Foodshare's upcoming state-wide "March Campaign".

Host Rev. Peg Chemberlin interviewed Rabbi Marcia Zimmerman of Temple Israel about her views on what Social Justice means in the context of Jewish theology, beliefs, and teachings.Host Rev. Peg Chemberlin interviewed Rabbi Marcia Zimmerman of Temple Israel about her views on what Social Justice means in the context of Jewish theology, beliefs, and teachings. Rabbi Zimmerman has been the senior rabbi of Temple Israel since 2001, and was the first female rabbi to serve a congregation of Temple's size. She also served as an associate and assistant rabbi at Temple since joining the congregation in July 1988. Rabbi Zimmerman is the current president of the Minnesota Rabbinical Association and is a member of the Executive Committee for the Minneapolis Jewish Federation, the Downtown Clergy Association, the Robins, Kaplan, Miller & Ciresi LLP Foundation. She is active in interfaith relations, serving on the Program Committee for the Phillips Jewish Christian Learning Center at the University of St. Thomas. Rabbi Zimmerman was recently elected to the Board of the Central Conference of American Rabbis (CCAR).
