February 4th, 2007 Children Left BehindIn Minnesota we have 70,000 children without health insurance on any given day. What are the implications and costs of leaving so many Minnesotan children without health insurance? Current legislation in Minnesota is attempting to provide universal healthcare for our Minnesotan children, titled the Children's Health Security Act. Laurie Beckman Yetzer of Congregations Concerned for Children has been working with a coaltiion of chidlren's advocacy groups to ensure that none of our children are left behind. Join our conversation as we explore what we can do to ensure the best for the children of Minnesota.
