October 19 - A Minnesota Without Poverty - Nancy Maeker

The phrase "A Minnesota Without Poverty" isn't just an idealistic wish - it's a consortium of faith communities working together as one visionary organization. They believe it is the Creator's intent that all people are provided those things that protect human dignity and make for healthy life: adequate food and shelter, meaningful work, safe communities, health care, and education. A Minnesota Without Poverty is dedicated to the vision that every child can thrive. The Legislative Commission to End Poverty has set the year 2020 as the goal for Minnesotans to come together and guarantee every child a safe, permanent home, quality childcare, education, and health care. This week we'll hear from Nancy Maeker, Director of "A Minnesota Without Poverty"
